PRAYER FOR TODAY
O Lord our God
We praise You, for You are good, and Your mercy reaches every corner of the earth.
Your word tells us that the psalmist sought You, and You heard him and delivered him from all his fears.
We seek You now with our whole hearts, and we ask You to hear us and free us from every fear that grips us.
Deliver us from the fear of tomorrow, the fear of loss, the fear that keeps us awake when the night feels long.
Teach us to want what You want and to walk in obedience to Your will, trusting that You answer those who call on You.
If God be for us, who can be against us, so we will not be ruled by dread.
No weapon that is formed against us shall prosper, because You are our deliverer.
Thank You for listening to every honest cry and for replacing our fear with Your peace.
